Nick Bodley

I wish to formally nominate for a board position on the ISEE Australian Chapter. MTi GROUP has a long history of supporting the ISEE particularly in the USA and more recently in Australia. I have been attending meetups and conferences since the beginning of my career as a graduate in 2003. I am passionate about the industry and the people in the ISEE who have helped me to develop products that our industry needs.

I feel that I can bring a different skill set to the table where my strengths are around innovation and practical applications of product in the Explosives Industry from a Mechanical Engineers perspective. I started with MTi GROUP when we were a 3 person team based in West Australia. We are now global and employ approximately 100 people with circa 500 mine sites using our products. Having travelled to mining areas extensively throughout Australia and abroad, I feel that I have a well-rounded practical understanding of our industry and a large network of peers. This helps me to be a better problem solver, strategic thinker and positive contributor to the ISEE’s mission of advancing the science and art of explosives engineering.
